The Wilton stepperettes performed at state on Thursday, December 5th, at 8:36 AM. The performance took place in Des Moines, Iowa. The group danced to the song, “Bad Guy,” by Billie Eilish. Although the group put in months of hard work and dedication, they didn’t get the ranking they hoped for. Lilly Wyatt 19’ says “That was the best that we’ve ever performed the dance all season. I’m really proud of how the team came together to put on a great performance. The results were not what we hoped for, but we’re all so proud of one another for all the hard work we’ve put in.” Both Scott Martin 19’ and Lilly Wyatt 19’ share the same memory of being stopped by Joe Ragatz and him telling them how proud he was of the stepperettes and their performance. The stepperettes state performance may be over but they aren’t done yet. The group will perform at Wilton Home basketball games during half-time, as well as the Spring Show on March, 14th 2020.
