Digital Media & Design Breaks the Ice with the Winter Semi-Formal

For decades at Wilton High School, students have been wishing for dances more than just Homecoming and Prom. Wilton has gone without formals, semi-formals, and all the like, giving students just two nights a year to dress up with fellow students and have fun. Wilton’s 2019 Digital Media & Design class is determined to change this in 2020. Karlie Schult, ‘20, shares why she is excited about the planning of the dance. “Many students at our school have asked for another dance and now it can finally happen. We constantly see other dances being held at other schools around us and now we can also hold more activities for the students”

For the past couple of months, students in this class have been planning on adding a new dance to the list, a winter semi-formal to get students in spirit after returning from winter break. This year, the “Icebreaker” dance will be held on February 1st, 2020. The students planning this dance are achieving everything through Digital Media & Design fundraising and are excited to bring another dance to Wilton High School for the student body to enjoy.
