The Wilton Wrestling team’s season has been going for a little over a month and the wrestlers have been performing well. In the words of Head Coach Gabe Boorn, “Let me think real quick, coming out of break I would have to say we are not performing up to our expectations, but due to some injuries and ailments of our wrestlers, we have been losing our duel matches. And mother nature also being harsh and limiting how much mat time we can get with school being canceled in the past two weeks. But hopefully, some of our wrestlers that have had injuries can get back out on the mat here pretty soon.” The Wilton Wrestlers have an upcoming meet on Thursday, January 23rd, at home. They will host West Liberty, Mid Prairie, and Durant, as well as Little Cheerleader night, Club Introduction Night, and Senior Night.
