Homecoming- All In

Due to Covid, Wilton High School students were unable to have Homecoming last year.  Fortunately, this year, they were!   The theme was board games, and student government tried to cram as much fun as possible into the week. Festivities were kicked-off with the always popular “Dress-up” days: Tuesday, “Camo Day”; Wednesday, “Jersey Day”; Thursday, “Class Board Game Shirt Day”; and Friday, “Blue and Gold Day.” On Thursday, students took part in a color run and played tug of war. On Friday students wrapped-up the week by playing some fun games like musical chairs, dodgeball, kickball, and ultimate football.

During Homecoming week the girls volleyball team played Tipton.  They won in three sets with the scores being  25-,17 25-8, and 25-15.  The football team played Highland at home and won 39-14.

The Homecoming Court consisted of 5 boys and 5 girls. The boys were Jackson Hull, Mason Ormsby, Lucas DuRocher, Gavin Schnepper, and Nolan Townsend. The girls were Carly Puffer, Mallory Lange, Kelsey Drake, Ella Caffery, and Alexa Garvin. Lucas DuRocher and Mallory Lange were crowned King and Queen. The Homecoming dance was held Saturday in the Junior High School Gym from 8:30 to 11:00 pm. Many students had a blast with their friends dancing the night away.
